Film Title Sequence / Motion Design Studio / OSU
This project marked an exciting milestone for Motion Studio at OSU, where I brought to life a title sequence for Gabino Iglesias' gripping book, *The Devil Takes You Home*. The story follows Mario, a man living on the West Texas border, who faces the heart-wrenching challenge of affording his daughter's medicine. Driven by love and desperation, he turns to a dangerous life as a hitman to support his family.
Creating this animation was a true labor of love. I crafted the visual assets using Adobe Illustrator and then brought them together with Adobe After Effects. Dedicating time to this project not only fueled my passion for motion design but also deepened my understanding of how to arrange elements compellingly. It was thrilling to apply effects that underscored the intense emotions and themes of the story. The entire experience felt more like a creative journey than a typical assignment, and I’m proud of how it turned out.
