How to Instructions / Graphic Design 2 / OSU
This was the first project for Graphic Design 2 at OSU. The task was to create an instructional guide based on any given task in the world. I decided to make a guide on how to assemble and ride Heelys, the shoes with wheels in the heels. I started by taking pictures of myself wearing them so that I had a good reference point to use for the illustrations. I later gave the illustrations color that would highlight the important steps with small visuals that would guide the user to success with the product such as arrows and lines that indicate movement. This project taught me how to come up with creative solutions and turn photos into illustrations.
