Dust Jackets / Graphic Design 2 / OSU
This was the final project for Graphic Design 2 at OSU. The goal was to find a book series with three parts and remake the cover to place on real books. I am a big fan of Steve Jackson's Sorcery, so I wanted to recreate the covers from his choose-your-own-adventure book series. This project has taught me how important measurements and placement are in product designs. I wanted to show the professor some of my illustration skills by creating a constellation form of a creature in the story that would foreshadow the events of the book without spoiling it. Keeping the constellation theme in mind, I made nebula patterns for all the back covers as a guide for the viewers' eyes to read the reviews in order.
